New Mom Care Package Fits In A Small Flat Rate Box

Looking for a way to make your friend who just had a baby feel a bit more like herself? Here is what I put together for a “self care” new mom care package.

What’s Inside?!

New Mom Care Package

My goal for this pouch was to be a “self care” new mom care package, some little things that can be carried around in the diaper bag or purse and simply make the new mama feel more like herself and less frazzled. Here is what I came up with.

I started with a pineapple pouch, either the small flat pouch or t-bottom would work (see image below)! You can also look for any other pencil pouches or little makeup bags!

  • Under Eye Gold Gel Mask
  • Travel Size Dry Shampoo
  • Travel Size Everyone Hand Sanitizer Spray
  • A few scrunchies
  • Mini Tide To Go Pen
  • Mini pint tinted Vaseline lip balm (for a little color)
  • Disposable toothbrushes
  • Travel Size Deodorant (I went with Native brand)
  • Burts Bees Cleansing Towelettes (note: these do NOT fit in the bag)
  • Gentle Baby Essential Oil
    • For the tranquility of scent and some amazing stories I’ve heard of it helping to calm babies I planned on building this whole new mom care package around this guy!

Feel free to mix up the items in the package but I always had the idea I wanted my friends to feel more like themselves with a swipe of a portable toothbrush and a tinted lip balm. The possibilities are endless though! The awesome thing about these pouches are they fit in small flat rate boxes!

Everything except the Burt’s Bee’s wipes which I realized was a little too big after I bought it!

What else would you include in your new mom care package?! Leave a comment below. Check out our other gift guides here. Our Teacher’s Back to School Care Package can be found here (it will NOT fit in a small flat rate box) haha.
