Good Golly Miss Molly | No. 1

A way for me to show you some things I’m loving and what’s been on my mind! Welcome to Good Golly Miss Molly!

I’m really excited to share with you what’s on my mind. I’ve been feeling quite overwhelmed lately and it helps me to take a step back and share with you what I’m loving. I think my overwhelmed-ness involves work and trying to put focus on Blissful Paper as well. I have a big work event coming up the first week of October so it is crunch time, but I also have great news coming for Blissful Paper! Stay tuned for that! In the meantime see below for my current faves.

American Royals by Katharine McGee

I flew through this book in just a few days. I loved the idea behind it, it feels like the show The Royals meeting American history. Picture if George Washington was made King instead of being elected President. The Washington family is American Royalty for generations. It has love stories galore, deceit, multiple love triangles, everything you need for a quick summer read. It really got me back into reading again from a lull I was in. There will be a sequel but not until Fall 2020, HELP! Get American Royals on Amazon.

Booked AirBnBs for Italy Vacation!

This is what DREAAAAAMMMMSSS are made of

Earlier this year I bought plane tickets for my dream vacation to Italy to celebrate my 30th birthday in November. I write in my Start Today Journal every day “I ate and drank it ALL in Italy” and it’s getting so much closer! I finally booked all of our accommodations. We are starting the trip in Rome and staying at an apartment near the Pantheon and then Florence near Ponte Vecchio. Send me all of your restaurant recs.

Beautiful $8.99 Earrings from Amazon!

Wind blown hair and strongest margarita of my life in Mexico. But you can see the earrings!

ESPECIALLY for $8.99 you can’t go wrong – I love these things. I get compliments every single time I wear them. Dress up or down! I wore them to a happy hour with a friend with a baseball cap over my days unwashed hair and it made me look so much more put together than I felt. Get them on Amazon here!

Benediction Canvas

I haven’t styled like the beautiful photo above, but it does hang on the wall in my office as a daily prayer reminder. I bought it from Lindsay Letters who I’ve been following for a while and you should also. Their daughter Eva was in an accident a few weeks ago and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The prayer warriors have been out in full force and that sweet girl is at the center of so many hearts. I bought the Benediction canvas as a reminder of my own UMYF Benediction that we said at the closing of every youth group. It brings such wonderful memories and mindfulness. Check out the canvas here! Take a look around her website, I’ve had my eye on her calendars for a few years now.

Dave’s Killer Bread – Pumpkin Spice MADNESS Bagels

I don’t even care what you say, I’m over the summer and the heat and I just want sweaters and pumpkins. Today at the grocery store I spent WAY too much money for a pack of bagels but oh they smell so sweet and it’s my wishful thinking that the seasons are changing. They seriously smell so good though, it’s the hint of maple. YUMMM.

Faith Revisited Podcast surpassed 1k downloads!

Our episode that surpassed the rest! With the legendary Rev Adam Hamilton. Listen here!

Very exciting news, my podcast that I have with my friend Ben surpassed ONE THOUSAND downloads?! That’s just crazy cool. The Adam Hamilton episode is our most popular episode that just surpassed episode 1. I write in my start today journal that the podcast surpasses 10k downloads, so we have a while to go. Always remember to cheer and high five along the way! Check out our website and find our podcast on Apple, Google, Spotify!

Four Weddings And A Funeral on Hulu

I loved this whole series on Hulu! Please go watch it. I 1000% support Mindy Kaling in all that she does (even though I thought some plot aspects could be left out of the Amazon Studio Movie, Late Night). Four Weddings and a Funeral is a great lighthearted, but pulls at your heartstrings, laugh out loud show that is such a refreshing piece of television. Especially if you’re all caught up on Handmaid’s Tale, you need Four Weddings to lighten the mood. The only thing I was unsure about was the two lead females eyebrows, but after a quick google search no one else feels the way I do. So I’ll be quiet now. I’m also listening to the soundtrack on repeat over on Spotify. I Believe In A Thing Called Love remake by Nina Nesbitt is the greatest piece of artwork since The Darkness sang the original.
