Father’s Day Gift Guide

Dad’s can be pretty difficult to shop for. Here is a list of Father’s Day Gift ideas to get your juices flowing!

I’m guilty of being a Daddy’s girl and my Dad is SO HARD TO SHOP FOR! Mostly because he goes out and buys everything he wants for himself. My dad, affectionately called “pops” is into camping, gardening and bbqing/smoking meats. There is normally a wide variety of items to purchase with those hobbies, other “dad things” include drinking accessories, sports, and exercise. My dad just bought himself a Tembo Tusk Skottle Grill which is great for camping, and he’s been practicing using it on the patio to cook dinner. My siblings would have happily pooled together to get him one as a Father’s Day Gift but he couldn’t wait!

Whether you’re shopping for your husband (he may be a father also!) or your dad, let’s check out my quick list!

For The “Check This Out” Dad – Avocado Tree Starter Kit

Avocado Tree Starter Kit – Uncommon Goods

This totally seems like a dad thing, something they can watch over and grow and create avocado trees! It’s a win win for everyone because who doesn’t want fresh guacamole every time they go to their parent’s house. I love shopping Uncommon Goods for gifts, they have such a great variety and filters per interest. Note that this tree starter kit is only that plastic green holder. You could spruce up the gift by buying a few avocados and some guac making supplies to get the party started!

For The “Always Prepared” Father – An Emerson Knife

Emerson Knives Tiger Model

Whether your dad carries a knife in his pocket everyday, opens boxes, or cuts meat. There are a billion uses for having a knife at the ready. Emerson Knives is one of the most quality and long lasting knives on the market. I know from personal experience it’s a great family run company with products made in the USA. If you dad is a collector or just a user this would be an awesome gift. Other models that are great include the Commander and Mini Roadhouse.

For The Dad With A Sweet Tooth – Baked By Melissa Cupcakes

Baked By Melissa Cupcakes

This is a great gift for ANY occasion, these delicious bite size cupcakes come in a variety of flavors and are delivered right to your door! I have a sweet tooth and these would be great to share with your dad who equally loves all things sugar. Plus these are SO tiny that you can have it in one bite. A Father’s Day Gift that is just as much his as it is yours, go ahead and order a few more packs!

For The Trendy Father – Nixon Watch

Time Setter Watch By Nixon All Black

No man can have enough watches, if you’re stuck on what to get this is always a good bet for the professional dad. They have great watches on the Nixon website but Amazon has better pricing *wink wink* This is a great Father’s Day Gift, some new wrist candy.

For The Caffeinated Father – Hydro Flask Mug

Hydro Flask 12oz Insulated Mug

My husband and I both got these mugs for Christmas and I LOVE it. It helps to not over drink coffee with a large tumbler, it also keeps the coffee hot. Hydro Flask also makes a 22oz and 32oz tumbler that if he looooves coffee then go for the big guns! These are stainless steel and most importantly dishwasher safe! I love mine and use it all the time.

Other Father’s Day Gift Ideas:

Literally anything on uncommongoods.com is great, I’ve bought so many gifts from there. My dad is also stocked up on home security with his Ring Doorbell and Blink Indoor Camera. If he’s into BBQing there are many accessories for skewers, grill pans, salt blocks, etc. A good bottle of liquor or a sampler pack of beers is also a no fail gift!

Hope this helps spark your imagination! Regardless, write your dad a note as that is probably one of the most appreciated gifts he could get. It also never gets old. Check out all of our Gift Lists and make sure everyone on your list is taken care of!
