Creative Mail Order Gifts Under $50

Whether you’re stuck inside or don’t live close by, there are so many creative mail order gifts on the market now!

In the age of online businesses, creative mail order gifts are a great option. Especially now that social distancing has completely eliminated the option to celebrate in person it’s forcing us all to look outside our “go-to” gifting ideas. I live across the country from family and friends and these are some of my personal favorites.

Greetabl

Greetabl offers printed boxes where you add a message and photos. You also have your pick of small gifts to go inside. It’s totally unique and customizable which makes it great for any recipient. Bridesmaids, birthdays, congratulations and get well soon. I sent one to a friend in my industry when I heard she was expecting. Inside the box I choose a soy candle and printed photos of us from an event. My final out the door cost was $21.00.

Printed box designs vary from $8 to $10. Gifts that go inside vary from $3 to $20-ish. There are also plenty of options for men as well, like bourbon toothpicks and beard combs.

Baked By Melissa

Baked by Melissa is the greatest bite size cupcakes and I always treat myself when visiting New York. You can have them mailed to a friend, I crave them often and there is no shame in my mail order game. I’ve sent a pack of 25 bite size cupcakes before for $30 and a pack of 50 for $60. The thing that “bites” is the shipping at $16. I get it though, these arrive FRESH. They also have gluten free, nut free and vegan options as well as macarons.

Don’t forget to always use Rakuten for cash back when shopping online (currently Baked by Melissa is 3% cash back). My referral link gets you $10 in cash when you spend $25!

The Sill

The Sill (and others listed below) send fresh plants to your friend’s doorstep! They have a huge variety of plants and price ranges. The Sill does $10 flat rate shipping for majority of their plants. What a wonderful gift for the plant lady in your life!

Bloomscape is another option with small plants priced at $35.

Cheryl’s Cookies

Back to treats, I’ve sent Cheryl’s Cookies on many occasions. The buttercream frosted cookies are AMAZING and they have boxes of themed cookies for every occasion and holiday! A perfect sugary pick me up for any celebration.

A dozen buttercream frosted cookies are $30 to $20 depending on the sales going on. You can also get two dozen for under $40. For additional savings you can sign up for their email list to get 15% off. Rakuten gets 5% cash back at Cheryl’s, they will have coupons listed as well.

Sugarwish

Sugarwish’s tagline is “Sweet Happiness. Delivered.” You can send candy boxes or popcorn boxes. The process works as you send an E-Card with a personalized message and the recipient gets to pick their own candies or popcorn from a huge selection. Prices start at $20 for 2 candies and that INCLUDES taxes and shipping. Popcorn boxes start at $40 and you get to choose 3 kinds of popcorn. What a sweet treat! I do love that your friend gets to pick out the types they want.

I hope you enjoy these 5 creative mail order gift ideas under $50! Let me know in the comments if there are gifts you frequently use that aren’t on this list!
