August 2019 Powersheets Goals

Powersheets Goals – August 2019 Monthly, Weekly and Daily Round Up.

I’ve been using Powersheets by Cultivate What Matters for 2 full years now. I thought it would be a great to work through my goals each month on this blog. Hopefully you may find some inspiration or ideas. Check out this blog post to learn more about Powersheets and how they’re used.

Quick Look Back Into Prep Work

Since this is my first month discussing my powersheets goals I want to do a quick recap on my prep work that I started December 2, 2018. One of the very first pages is called “2019 Ideas” and I really have seen how full circle most of these have come.

  • Create a thriving website / Basecamp Life
    • Well this is funny because my whole goal at the end of 2018 was the build a travel and adventure blog. I had promotion items made (still sitting in my office). Things turned and I have a thriving website, but not the same as originally planned.
  • Have a plan for our financial future
    • We absolutely have a plan – first step is to pay off our house. It took a while to get to this spot, a lot of discussing and playing with other ideas, back and forth, but now we’re decided. That’s where we are focusing our efforts now.
  • Love love love my husband
    • Always working on this one, definitely room for improvement.
  • Be an exceptional friend
    • Also very weird that on December 2nd I had the hindsight that friendship was something extremely important I wanted to focus on. The idea for Blissful Paper didn’t come to me until late January
  • Self reliant and hardworking partner
    • Again, always needing to work on this but I have vastly improved as my confidence and skills have.
  • Grow in faith and church contribution
    • I’ve grown immensely in this aspect – The Faith Revisited Podcast has been launched, I am very involved at church and feel more connected than my faith than ever before.
  • Be the healthiest person yet
    • Honestly my new Peloton has changed the game. This year I’ve also jumped on the sparkly water bandwagon which upped my water intake significantly. I don’t eat fast food (hardly ever), no soda, rarely anything fried… Still improvements need to be made (sugar is my downfall) but I’m on the right track!
  • Set us up for a thriving/stable future
    • Yep! Working on it! I kind of laugh at the word choice I used, “Thriving” and “Stable.” Guess I’m trying to figure what that totally means – I think it meant financially and we are on a good path. This includes me adding another source of income, we got rid of any non-house mortgage debt, working to live off of only my husband’s salary.

AAAAND For July Updates

Didn’t do too hot tracking my daily action items, obviously. But I did get much of the work down and you can see I’m also carrying over work items I didn’t finish last month. Now I feel the pressure of accountability which will probably help me with these monthly items I want to cross off finally!
