As I’ve grown in my faith, I have found others who are also focusing on their faith in this phase of life. These non-cheesy Faith Based Gifts are great for female friends or family members.
1. Pretty Bibles
What a better faith based gift than a new pretty bible! There are a ton of options out there – just do a casual search for painted bibles on Etsy! Hosanna Revival has beautiful hand painted bibles but also amazing printed bibles and journals. One I have my eye on is the She Reads Truth Bible. I’ll take ANY of the colors, I love the inside especially. There are reading plans, beautiful illustrations of verses, maps, charts and timelines! Poppy and Grey come in hard linen covers and then a beautiful Navy and Rose Gold that are leather touch. They also have He Reads Truth for the fellas.
2. Write The Word Journals
I love my Write the Word Journal by Cultivate What Matters. I have two and have also gifted a journal to a friend going through a tough time. Each journal has you write the verse then the opposite page is for writing what’s on your heart. Each journal has a theme, and there are journals for every season. Some of the titles include, Cultivate Joy, Cultivate Forgiveness, Cultivate Hope, Cultivate Prayer, Cultivate Renewal, etc. You can also buy a bundle of journals and get a discount. I’ve seen some of the Write the Word Kids Journals that are super popular for kiddos (ages 5-12). Sign up for their newsletter and get 10% off your first order.
3. Lindsay Letters Art
I just ordered a Benediction canvas hanging in my office now. Any artwork on her website would be a great faith based gift for anyone! Her store is full of beautiful art, verses and quotes. I especially love the Doxology, and what’s great is you can customize them with color backing, on canvas, framed or an art print.
4. A Great Devotional
There are millions of devotionals on the market, a personal favorite of mine is by Shauna Niequist called Savor: Living Abundantly Where You Are, As You Are. I was given this as a gift from a friend and while I don’t use it daily, the pages are all marked with each day of the year January 1 through December 31st which is a wonderful way to structure it. It sits next to my bed and I’ll grab it on occasion and open up to the current day and take a moment to myself.
5. Jewelry That Makes An Impact
I just recently heard about Elizabeth’s Voice which makes baskets and jewelry by two groups of artisans. One group is comprised of single mothers and widows in Uganda and the second is of refugees from Iraq & Syria in Beirut. I personally have my eye on their earrings. Elizabeth’s Voice is a 501c3 doing amazing work. I also have talked about ABLE before and all they do domestically to give women living wages as well as internationally helping to end generational poverty. These faith based gifts truly make an impact beyond the gift receiver.
6. Prayer Journal
I have been using a prayer journal off and on recently but love it as a focused list to write down prayer concerns and praise. Whenever a text comes through, or I get the Sunday bulletin at church I try to make a concerted effort to include it in my prayer journal. This would be a great gift. Write in the first page of the journal a prayer for the receiver which would be so special to read time and time again. Here is a prayer journal I made that is over on redbubble!
7. A Daily Reminder
For all of the coffee and tea drinkers out there, give them a daily dose of Jesus on a mug. There are a ton of bible verse mugs all over Etsy. Redbubble has so many creative stickers that would be another great gift that is super trendy to stick all over hydroflasks and laptops.
